Cherker
Quality & Testing
Sea buckthorn grows wild in the cold desert of Leh, Ladakh. We harvest it there and process it in small lots — so quality is something we check, not something we assume.
How we test
From each harvest we draw samples and send them to an independent, accredited food laboratory. Testing covers parameters such as microbiological safety, heavy metals, and nutritional profile. Every result applies to the specific sample tested — so we test again as we produce, rather than relying on a single certificate.
Why we test
Testing is also a condition of our FSSAI licence, which requires regular checks for contaminants through accredited laboratories. We treat that requirement as a floor, not a ceiling.
